AGREED!

Hey Reader,

Wow, it’s been a loooong while once again.

Sorry – but also not sorry – for being missing in action the last few months. If you’re a new parent, you know. 😅

Yesterday, we celebrated my son’s first birthday. One whole trip around the sun. Time flies soooo fast but also, this past year has felt sooo long. The days are long, the years are short indeed.

Here’s a picture from the party:

🌱 Life lately & identity shift

Honestly, I’ve been going through another massive identity shift. (Wow, when was it not)

But this one’s different. If I’m being honest, this made me so confused about how I want to show up for you.

If you’ve been here a while, you’ve seen the version of me who was all about hustle, grind, and productivity. We navigated our 20s together – careers, businesses, ambition.

Then I turned 30. Got my coaching master’s. That’s when things started shifting.

I started talking about slowing down, internal transformation, and choosing life.

And now, with this new chapter in motherhood, it’s still a bit unclear how I want to show up, but I do know that I have a years of lessons, learnings and transformations I want to share to you.

💌 Are you still in?

Before I go on – can you quickly reconfirm if you’d like to keep hearing from me? I don’t want to crowd your inbox if this no longer feels aligned. Zero hard feelings if so.

If you’re still in – THANK YOUUUU! I’m so, so glad you’re here. I’ll try to show up more often now, even as I continue figuring out this new version of me.

Now back to the one of my most favourite topics at hand! 👇🏼

The things that keep on giving – when you give more.✨

This past year wasn’t packed with productivity or perfectly colour-coded schedules.

It was packed with surrender, transformation, and a whole lot of tears (and blood, and sleepless nights).

I used to have my days planned by the hour.

Now, I’m learning to meet life as it comes – without a plan, without a guarantee, but with presence.

And in this wild chapter, I realised something simple but profound:

Some of the most powerful things in life don’t run out when you give them.

In fact, they multiply.

Let me share with you a few examples from my own observation:

Love
You get more love when you give it – openly, vulnerably, without keeping score.
Whether through kindness, empathy, or quiet support, it comes back deeper.

Energy

Strangely enough, you get more energy by moving your body, not by staying still.

Knowledge

Studies have been published that you understand more when you teach others. As a coach and a trainer, I’ve experience this myself that I have become a master in the process of becoming one, not when I am studying to be one.

Trust

You build more trust when you offer it first. Try this: if you want to earn somebody’s trust, ask them for a favour. It’s not a hack, it’s just a fact. The fact that you asked them to do something for you, shows that you offered your trust first.

Confidence

I’ve said this time and time again, courage is fear walking. Confidence grows not from waiting to feel ready, but by stepping into challenges despite uncertainty.

Creativity

Action breeds inspiration. That’s exactly how I wrote this newsletter – free-flow, no outline, just my authentic experience.

And of course… parenting.

It’s probably the hardest, most relentless give-give-give role of all.
But it’s also the most beautiful example of this truth.
You pour and pour, and somehow, your capacity to love keeps growing.

Not because it’s easy. (Spoiler alert: it’s not.)
But because showing up, every single day and night for someone else, changes you.
It burns off the ego, the control, the schedule… and leaves only what truly matters.

This past year has taught me that giving is not a depletion – it’s a return.
Not always instantly, and not always in the way you expect.
But always, in some way, eventually.

Whether you are a parent or not, I am sure you can resonate in this truth as you choose to take care and love others. This is your reminder to this verse:

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” – Galatians 6:9

💭 Question for you this week:

Where are you being called to give more trust, more presence, or more love… even before it feels easy?

Have a great week loves and I am so glad to write to you this week. How I miss this!!! (ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ)♡

Lots of love and tea 🍵,
Dane
